Painter & Hydro Tester Richards Industrials
Location: Cincinnati Ohio
Reports to: Production Manager
Shift: Second Shift - 2pm-Midnight Monday - Thursday

The Position:
Richards is now seeking an experienced motivated and results-oriented Painter and Hydro Tester to help us elevate our Core Richards business based in Cincinnati. This business is comprised of the Jordan Valve Low Flow Steriflow Steriflow Food & Beverage Marwin Hex and Bestobell product lines.
The Painter and Hydro Tester will report directly to Richards Production Manager.
He or she will be responsible for the following:
- Operating and properly maintaining all painting equipment
- Wash hang paint and dry parts then move to staging area
- Washing sanding and covering parts to prepare materials to be painted
- Operates and maintains all hydro testing equipment
- Ensures valve bodies are sealed and maintain correct pressure when tested
- Maintaining correct fixtures for the hydro tester machine
- Complete all necessary documentation and maintains productions schedule
- Inspect materials for quality and correctness
- Perform quality assurance tests
- Work in teams to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks
- Embraces lean/continuous improvement ideas and vision
- Follows 5S (sort/set/shine/standardize/sustain) principles
Qualifications Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to operate hand and power tools
- Strong math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read understand and interpret shop orders work instructions and work orders to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle 50lb - 200lb valve bodies with assistance of hand trucks lifts conveyors and hoists
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours at a time
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as scheduled
- Ability to work as a team
- Troubleshooting ability
