Position Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring evaluating and enhancing the quality of services provided across all classrooms and program areas within the childcare center. This role ensures compliance with state licensing regulations national accreditation standards and internal quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate will support continuous improvement through data collection classroom observations staff coaching and documentation audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and accreditation standards (e.g. NAEYC QRIS).
- Familiarity with quality assessment tools (e.g. CLASS ECERS ITERS TPOT).
- Experience with coaching mentoring or adult learning preferred.
- Strong organizational observation and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively with staff and families.
