Job Summary

Overview:
GTN Technical Staffing is partnering with a leading Defense and Space Manufacturing client to hire a skilled Network Engineer for a full-time direct hire opportunity. This individual will own the network environment providing end-to-end oversight of design implementation security and support. The role is primarily remote with periodic travel required to five U.S. locations.

Responsibilities:

Own and manage the enterprise network environment ensuring security reliability and scalability.
Design configure and support network infrastructure including LAN WAN VLAN and firewall environments.
Implement manage and troubleshoot Prisma Palo Alto Cisco and Fortinet solutions.
Develop and enforce firewall security policies and best practices.
Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues.
Ensure compliance with DoD and GCC environment networking and security standards.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align networking strategies with business objectives.
Travel to five designated client locations to provide onsite support deployment and upgrades as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in owning/leading enterprise network environments.
Strong expertise with Prisma Palo Alto Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
Solid knowledge of LAN WAN VLAN and firewall management.
Experience in secure network design implementation and monitoring.
Familiarity with DoD or GCC environment requirements.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP PCNSE NSE Security CISSP) are highly desirable.
Strong communication documentation and leadership skills.

Additional Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for DoD environment).
Active DoD clearance (or ability to obtain) strongly preferred.
Ability to pass a drug test and Background check.
