Job Description

Job Title: C Lead Developer
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid Local preferred)
Duration: Long Term

Overview:
Seeking an experienced C Lead Developer to drive high-performance application development for a leading retail client. The role involves hands-on coding technical leadership and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design development and optimization of C applications

  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product QA DevOps)

  • Ensure scalability maintainability and performance tuning

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills:

  • 8 years of C development (C11 or later)

  • Strong in OOP data structures algorithms

  • Expertise in multithreading memory management performance optimization

  • Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting

  • Familiarity with Git/version control

  • Strong leadership debugging and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Retail domain experience (Macys a plus)

  • Knowledge of CI/CD Agile DevOps

  • Experience in legacy modernization/migration
