Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage automated infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Bicep and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using tools like Azure DevOps fluxCD ArgoCD or Jenkins.
- Architect and support scalable resilient and secure Azure cloud environments tailored for microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Automate operational tasks including patching backups monitoring and alerting using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Integrate infrastructure automation with service management platforms (e.g. ServiceNow Azure Monitor Atlassian Servicedesk).
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across compute storage networking and security layers.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (e.g. AKS/Kubernetes) with automated scaling monitoring and logging.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory standards through automated guardrails and policy enforcement.
- Perform regular performance tuning cost optimization and capacity planning across cloud resources.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture automation workflows and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- 10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure DevOps or cloud engineering.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Bicep or Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.
- scripting skills in Python Bash or PowerShell for automation and tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices including pipeline creation artifact management and deployment automation.
- Deep understanding of Azure services such as AKS App Services Functions Azure SQL Cosmos DB Azure Cache Storage Accounts Key Vaults Application Gateway Service Bus and Log Analytics.
- Solid grasp of cloud networking concepts including VNETs NSGs load balancers private endpoints private DNS and hybrid connectivity.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/AKS).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana Azure Monitor ELK stack).
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g. CIS benchmarks NIST ISO 27001) and implementation in cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) including performance and connectivity issues.
- Experience with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory RBAC and managed identities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers security and operations.
