Job Title: Desk Side Support Specialist

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support AHL applications and infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot IIS-hosted -based applications.
- Configure and maintain secure file transfer routines within the AHL SFTP platform.
- Submit and track infrastructure requests including network DNS firewall and load balancer changes.
- Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests via ServiceNow (SNOW) queue or per project direction.
- Collaborate with development QA and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability and performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Maintain documentation for systems procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in patching upgrades and system migrations as part of lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Active Directory Group Policy and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
- Understanding of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk AppDynamics).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mainframe and/or AS400 systems platform experience is a plus.
