Emerging Technology and AI Advisor Auckland
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) is a highly specialised government department whose mission is to disrupt and deter serious complex fraud through prevention investigation and prosecution. We take pride in the work we do to keep New Zealand safe from fraud and corruption.
We employ a talented team of lawyers forensic accountantsinvestigators and electronic forensic counter fraud and policy experts to do just that and importantly we have a small corporate services team that supports our operational teams. Numbering eighty we are a cohesive team with a strong sense of justice and a vibrant culture.
About the role
Were looking for someone at the start of their technology career perhaps a recent graduate or early-career professional to join us as an Emerging Technology and AI Advisor. This 12-month fixed term full time role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience explore emerging technologies and develop your career in a supportive environment. Youll help us to identify opportunities to use technology to improve how we work. You will pilot and implement new technology solutions making sure system changes are understood well-communicated and effectively adopted.
Youll play a key role in improving the experience people have with our tools and systems ensuring that technology isnt just functional but also user-friendly and impactful.
You are passionate about a broad range of technologies including in Office 365 applications and AI applications. Proficiency with common computer programming languages would be helpful but is not essential. Additionally an understanding of document management systems having analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities is a bonus.
