Position Summary
The Production Assistant is an entry-level position in our production department. This person is responsible for handling garments as they come off the dryer at the end of the printing press preparing them for additional decoration quality control or final packing. The role also floats between other tasks in the shop making it an excellent training ground for anyone interested in building a career in screen printing and apparel production.

Key Responsibilities
- Remove garments from the dryer belt and stack them neatly for the next step (additional imprint embroidery heat press or shipping).
- Perform visual quality checks on garments to ensure prints meet company standards.
- Assist press operators with press breakdowns setups and cleanup.
- Support heat press operations applying transfers and finishing garments as needed.
- Learn basic embroidery tasks including hooping trimming and finishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Cross-train in various parts of the production process to support the team where needed.
- Dependable hardworking and eager to learn.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
