Job Summary (List Format): Production Equipment Technician
- Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all production equipment including file-based servers for archival storage and retrieval where applicable.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by reading and interpreting technical service bulletins and manuals to develop effective repair plans.
- Respond promptly to technical support calls to minimize equipment downtime.
- Accurately log support calls work time and parts used in the technician tracking system (e.g. FIIX).
- Install troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring controls and computer hardware for production equipment.
- Relocate and support installation of new production equipment as directed by management.
- Track and report parts usage; provide feedback to management and inventory analysts on inventory levels.
- Support a positive work environment contribute to team morale and assist in mentoring junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA requirements by maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to safety procedures throughout all tasks.
- Able to stand and lift/move 25 lbs throughout assigned shifts.
