What You Will Get To Do:

As an Associate Director Real Assets you will be responsible for a broad range of managerial responsibilities including leading and supporting the client service team overseeing client and staff management and driving key business initiatives to grow our presence in the local market. You will manage multiple fund relationships supervise client service teams and ensure all client deliverables are met. You will also be accountable for the quality and timely delivery of services to clients. This includes:

  • Provide guidance and direction to staff on all technical and client servicerelated matters.
  • Develop and support targeted ongoing education for all direct reports.
  • Set KPIs and manage performance development and career progression.
  • Participate in new business discussions with prospects and existing clients.
  • Actively identify and develop local opportunities building networks through industry and proprietary marketing events.
  • Support corporate goals and contribute to broader business and departmental initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 8 years accounting experience with a focus on alternative investment funds; Real Assets experience is essential.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting for alternative investment funds with expertise in Real Asset funds.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS; knowledge of other accounting standards is an advantage.
  • 5 years experience supervising a team of professional staff.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
