In this role you will drive marketing effectiveness in the region in line with the vision mission and strategic objectives of the organisation to elevate brand impact with target audiences in Asia Middle East and Africa.
What youll do
Oversee the planning execution and measurement of marketing campaigns across key Asian Middle Eastern and African markets supporting the local teams in-market with marketing expertise new processes templates and toolkits that cascade from the central brand strategy and guidelines.
Collaborate with the local teams in Asia Middle East and Africa to instill and build local competencies in marketing best practice in areas like: agency briefing media auditing process campaign execution and impact measurement in partnership with the central marketing team.
Monitor and report on marketing impact in the region through a media (paid earned and owned) and audience data management framework in partnership with the local teams central marketing team strategic insights external media auditors and campaign evaluation agencies.
Advise on the development and adaptation of new creative content for campaigns and marketing materials in the region including sales support materials and toolkits in line with brand guidelines and evolving local advertising regulations in the region.
Support the International PR manager and assist the local teams in managing local PR agencies particularly in terms of coordination of messaging content and performance reporting to ensure alignment and cohesion with audience KPIs and other marketing mix components in the region.
Co-ordinate the development of an annual regional content plan for customer-centric marketing initiatives across customer- facing platforms (online offline paid owned and earned channels) in a range of languages in partnership with the relevant internal and local teams and our global agency partner.
Develop regional briefs for marketing communications agencies and work with them to devise and implement targeted transnational strategies and plans in the region in line with budget allocations and KPI targets.
Coordinate plans inputs and outputs from the Chefs Irish Beef Club (CIBC) network in the region to ensure we are optimising and expanding this earned endorsement and integrating it in our regional marketing mix where relevant.
Manage relevant assigned budgets for global marketing communications in line with Bord Bias strategy processes and guidelines.
About You
Essential Knowledge Skills & Capabilities
Knowledge:
Degree level qualification in marketing with additional certification or qualifications in digital marketing and marketing effectiveness.
Minimum 5 years experience as a marketing practitioner with experience managing regional MarComms projects from planning through to execution and evaluation.
Proven global agency management track record and experience working in a global team matrix.
Significant budget and KPI management and reporting experience
B2B and B2C marketing experience across paid earned and owned media channels
International experience in Asia Middle East and/or Africa
Skills & Capabilities:
Fluency in English written and spoken
Data-informed insight-led and digital-first mindset with high digital/technical enabled skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced international business environment and available to travel within the regional and internationally.
Strong interpersonal written verbal and presentation skills to ensure excellent cross-functional working and to ensure clarity and consistency of plans and campaigns
Desirable Knowledge Skills & Capabilities
Knowledge:
Food and drinks industry experience an advantage but not essential
SEO and SEA expertise an advantage
Marketing Mix Modelling experience an advantage
Skills & Capabilities:
Fluency in at least one Asian language an advantage
