Job Duties
As a Maternal-Child Public Health Nurse Senior you have the unique opportunity to transform lives in your community. Specializing in healthcare for mothers infants and children you will focus on:
Ensuring access to care for pregnant women throughout their pregnancies and focusing on a comprehensive post partum visit via 1:1 case management
Ensuring access to pediatric care via 1:1 case management
Education prevention and treatment to improve health outcomes and reduce maternal and child mortality rates in the WPHD
Partnering and collaborating with other West Piedmont Health District community partners who serve the maternal child health community
Assisting in data collection analysis and interpretation at the health district level to inform program direction and engage stakeholders
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a great collaborator with exceptional interpersonal skills in working with community partners and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum Qualifications
Active unencumbered nursing license
BLS Certification
1 years RN experience
Displays strong communication skills
Additional Considerations
Experience with data collection and/or analysis
Extensive knowledge of/experience working in obstetrics pediatrics or neonatal care
Public health knowledge and/or experience
Leadership experience and/or training preferred
Bilingual
