OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST MANAGER
TEMPORARY (12 MONTHS) FULL -TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week).
CHILDRENS SERVICES DUBLIN
Salary: 77044 -92491
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Essential:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Current registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in occupational therapy with significant pediatric/childrens disability experience
- Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
- Strong knowledge of childrens disability services and multidisciplinary team working
- Full Drivers Licence
- Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams. A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Experience in providing Clinical Supervision
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in management leadership or specialized pediatric occupational therapy
- Experience working within Childrens Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models
- Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to childrens disability services
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
