Were searching for a Toronto- based Sales Engineer to join our Sales team so that we can help support the sales of our broad suite of products and solutions. The Sales Engineer will provide deep technical expertise and product knowledge in collaboration with our sales leaders to support the successful sale of our products.
How Youll Spend Your Time
Provide technical expertise and deep product knowledge to support pre-sales activities including addressing technical questions concerns and objections raised by customer IT Security Architecture and Audit teams during the sales process.
Maintain and update the sales demo environment(s) and ensure demo stories are updated to highlight new features/functions and address industry challenges and trends.
Create custom configurations in the software to align with demo scripts provided by prospects as part of the bidding process.
Utilize strong presentation skills to speak with clients about our solutions while working collaboratively with our sales leaders to showcase solution value .
Assist in the development of technical proposals technical questionnaires and RFP response.
Participate in cross-functional collaboration through knowledge shares including communicating with the product management team about enhancements to better meet customer needs.
What were most interested in you having
Experience in a Sales Engineer role ideally within a healthcare technology company
Basic understanding of SaaS architecture familiarity with how cloud-based applications are structured including multi-tenancy scalability and uptime considerations.
Database Fundamentals (SQL) ability to query and interpret data from relational database to support demos proof-of-concepts and customer discussions
Cloud Platform Familiarity (AWS Preferred) - General knowledge of cloud services such as EC2 S3 RDS and IAM with an emphasis on how they support SaaS deployments.
Networking Concepts - Understanding of basic networking principles (e.g. firewalls VPNs IP whitelisting) to assist in integration and connectivity conversations.
Authentication & Security Protocols - Comfort discussing SSO OAuth2 SAML and data encryption practices with customer IT and security teams.
API Integration Experience - Ability to explain RESTful APIs data exchange formats (JSON/XML) and how integrations are typically implemented in healthcare environments.
Experience tailoring product demonstrations to technical audiences highlighting architecture security and integration capabilities.
Ability to commute to a local office Chicago IL; Carmel IN; Charleston SC; Toronto ON) approximately 50% of the month
