Our Finance team enables leaders and partnering groups to understand the financial implications that their business decisions are projecting to be or are resulting in. We guide these partners to understand financial opportunities or realities that help move Baxter forward and closer to the overall mission.

The Finance Leader Connected Care Group (CCG) is responsible for providing financial leadership and business partnering to the VP of CCG. This organization is responsible for Baxters Connectivity Platforms Connected Care Strategy and Connected Care and Communications (CCC) business total this individual directly supports approximately $260M in revenue for the CCC business and the delivery of Baxters connected products which are approximately $2B in revenue annually. This finance leader will be responsible for driving global results and supporting the transformational initiatives of CCG. What youll be doing
Own and provide proactive leadership for the Annual Operating Plan and forecasting for the CCG organizations including capital allocation reporting results explaining variance drivers understanding trend and highlighting risk and opportunities
Support leadership in defining strategic direction of the organization
Support key commercial activities such as pricing deal structures and incentive program development; this is inclusive of monetizing and developing commercial structures for new connected care services
Support key operational activities and manage KPIs
Deploy and manage standard processes reporting and analytics governance and business partnership globally ensuring consistency across the regions
Direct the Capital spend budgets and corresponding forecasts. Facilitate tracking and analysis of spend and ensure actuals are within targeted commitments.
Lead compliance with internal controls Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) SEC requirements and Baxter Financial Policies and Procedures for all related operations
Identify business risks and determine and drive implementation of mitigation plans
Build and maintain strong team and cross functional partnerships
What youll bring
Bachelors degree in Accounting or finance. Professional certification such as CPA is also a plus
15 years of experience in accounting and finance area; software and large public company experience a plus
Strong business acumen and judgment as well as understanding of relevant business environment
Ability to effectively influence and drive consensus with diverse stakeholders; demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Strong negotiation interpersonal communication collaboration and presentation skills
General knowledge of GAAP accounting principles tax and legal accounting (Knowledge of acquisition accounting a plus)
Skilled at assembling and managing both ongoing staff as well as cross-functional teams as required
Decisive leadership with ability to generate ideas develop alternatives rapidly decide upon best course of action and drive implementation of that decision
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $176000 - $242000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses commission and/or long-term incentive.
