About the Role
As a Team Merlin Commercial Host you will help to create lifelong memorable experiences in our attraction for our guests. You will deliver the highest possible standards of guest service presentation and product knowledge and will ensure that our guests are receiving optimal fun by connecting with them in a magical fun and safe environment. Our Commercial Hosts work in our small themed cafes where families can relax with a coffee or families can purchase a snack to eat. Commercial hosts serve food and drinks and make sure the area is always spotlessly clean.
You will also cross trained in our gift shop and need to help make sure the shop is fully always stocked and looking presentable and have the confidence to suggest products that our guests may want to purchase or be on hand to assist our customers with any queries they may have. Youll always strive to boost revenue and smash daily targets while demonstrating world-class customer service.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for guest experience with a focus on fun. They will be proactive in their approach to customer service with a positive attitude towards interaction with our guests and upselling techniques. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but a desire to work in the entertainments industry is essential. The ideal candidate must be available to work on weekends. Excellent spoken English and confident presentation skills are all required. Experience or knowledge about marine animals is favourable but not essential to the role.
