Job Description

NDT Level II Technician (PT & MT) Aerospace
Pay: $25 $32/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Location: North of Tulsa

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced NDT Level II Technician to perform critical inspections in compliance with NAS410 BAC ASTM and customer specifications. This position ensures aerospace components meet the highest standards of safety and quality. A successful NDT Level II Technician will be detail-oriented organized and capable of working independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PT and MT inspections per NAS410 and customer/internal specifications.
  • Set up calibrate and operate NDT equipment according to approved procedures.
  • Review work orders and verify compliance with process requirements.
  • Interpret evaluate and document inspection results making accept/reject decisions.
  • Classify indications per applicable standards and report findings accurately.
  • Maintain thorough and organized inspection records.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Level I personnel when assigned.
  • Support audits corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all company safety quality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • NAS410 Level II certification in Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Meets minimum OJT hours for NAS410 Level II certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and company operating systems.
  • Strong record-keeping organizational and communication skills.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing/inspection environment.
