With new local contracts were looking for experienced Blast Crew to join our crews in the Isaac region. Enjoy the security of a permanent role with a 7:7 roster (Wednesday to Tuesday) flexible travel options benefits and bonuses. At Platinum youll be more than just a number.

The Role
As part of our Blast Crew youll be on the bench delivering safe and efficient blasting every day. Youll report to the Shift Supervisor and handle explosives in preparation for blasts.
What Youll Do
- Dipping priming loading stemming and tie-in of blast patterns
- Safe use storage security transport and handling of explosives
- Operating ancillary equipment such as stemming loaders
- Working collaboratively with the crew to achieve daily targets
What Youll Need
Must-haves:
- Right to work in Australia
- Previous Blast Crew experience in an open cut mining environment
- Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
- Able to pass pre-employment checks including medical drug and alcohol and background checks
Nice to have:
- Statement of Attainments for explosive handling or relevant RIIs e.g. RIIBLA201E Support Shotfiring Operations
- Heavy Rigid (or greater) driver licence
