We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Support Staff to join our team for the upcoming season. This is aseasonal positionwith the potential to transition into a part-time role based on performance and business needs. As part of our events team youll play a key role in resetting event spaces and welcoming guests to ensure an exceptional and organized experience.
Key Responsibilities
Resetting Event Spaces:Prepare and reset venues before and after events including arranging furniture setting up equipment and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Guest Greeting and Support:Warmly welcome guests assist with check-in answer basic questions and provide directions to create a positive first impression.
Event Assistance:Support event coordinators with light tasks such as distributing materials monitoring event areas and addressing guest needs as they arise.
Maintaining Standards:Ensure event spaces remain tidy safe and presentable following venue policies and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Ability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting and moving chairs or tables.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable punctual and able to work flexible hours including mornings evenings and weekends.
Prior experience in hospitality customer service or event support is a plus but not required.
Schedule
Seasonal position with approximately 15 hours per week based on event schedules.
Must be available for a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings and weekends.
Opportunity for part-time employment after the seasonal term
