Roles and Responsibilities

Lab Engineer specific responsibilities:

  • Modify boards and small assemblies
  • Lab measurements (Oscilloscope spectrum analyzer )
  • Daily follow up of reliability testing
  • Qualification and verification testing
  • Calibration and equipment maintenance responsibilities

Overall team responsibilities

-Design and development of electronic boards used in GEHC handheld ultrasound equipment. Work includes:

  • - Low noise receivers and high voltage transmitters
  • Digital/FPGA design and clock distribution
  • Power supplies (DCDC and LDO)
  • Layout
  • Test qualification debug and release

Required Qualifications

  • BSc degree in Electronics Engineering
  • Lab work and soldering experience of SMT components
  • Proven experience of debug and problem solving
  • Electronics designexperience

Other Qualifications:

  • Linux
  • Part programming through serial ports/USB/JTAG
  • Scripting in python/matlab
  • 3D printing and modelling
  • Mechanical assembly of small/delicate parts
  • Use of Confluence Jira Agile work
  • Healthcare business experience

  • Forward leaning self-driven and structured work style. Medical industry has very high requirements to documentation. Need to be able to provide well-structured documents in English
