Job Summary
The position is located within the regional technical team which handles warranty claims for the Central and Eastern European markets. This team includes several warranty colleagues who handle other markets in the same role. The majority of the tasks involve assessing warranty claims based on internal guidelines and there is often a need for the technical evaluation of warranty cases for which the engineering team (part of this regional team) provides assistance. Additional responsibilities include processing the individual needs of the markets supporting any bottlenecks and distributing central communications.
The communication language within the team is Hungarian but the contact with the markets is in English.
Responsibilities
Handling / assessing prior approval requests
Manage warranty hotline
Organise warranty training/guidance
Providing warranty reports and information to dealers
Warranty booklet & Warranty policy procedure update
Managing market requirements and specifications
Support the PD with warranty repair/claim details
Handle unique case management in Track-lite system
Warranty process alignment and improvement
Support the dealer network Warranty Claiming Hungarian & EDM (European Direct Markets)
In house training about warranty processing claim submission correction and tracking
Managing goodwill claims
Qualifications
University or College Degree/Technical Certification in a related subject
Good command of English
Good communication skills
PC skills
Experience in the automotive industry or vehicle repair is an advantage.
