Job Summary
ActualHomeCare LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team and provide leadership oversight and clinical expertise. This is an immediate start opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities as Director of Nursing (DON):
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and caregivers.
Develop implement and monitor policies and procedures in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Prepare for and manage CHAP surveys audits and inspections.
Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments and ensure care plans are accurate comprehensive and up to date.
Interviewing caregiver staff training and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with families and work closely with the executive team to ensure client satisfaction.
Monitor quality assurance infection control and patient safety initiatives.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the care team.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of New Jersey.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of nursing leadership experience preferably in home care.
Experience with CHAP accreditation is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of home care regulations compliance and best practices.
Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel up to one hour to conduct patient visits.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
