Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Support engineering and manufacturing operations through a wide range of technical functions including hardware design schematic capture and layout (Altium) troubleshooting verification testing and prototype assembly of electro-mechanical systems.

- Develop experimental circuitry specialized test equipment and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards for both new and continuing products.

- Applications may involve analog digital graphical interface and external peripheral integration using common communication protocols.

- Apply principles of electronics electrical circuitry engineering mathematics physics and electrical/electronic testing.

- Design and develop hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium.

- Perform CBA troubleshooting verification testing and prototype fabrication/assembly.

- Conduct detailed engineering and experimental tests to collect design and research data.

- Assist in designing constructing and verifying production test equipment.

- Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes digital volt meters signal generators and logic analyzers.

- Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

- Analyze and interpret test data prepare technical reports and develop charts/graphs illustrating system performance.

- Perform preventative maintenance calibration and modifications on electronic systems and equipment.

- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions coordinating with external/internal resources as necessary.

- Support regulatory and safety compliance for released products.

- Provide technical support customer education and recommendations for new or existing equipment.

Requirements:

- Vocational or Technical Certificate in a related field required with a minimum 510 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions

- Experience with ISO and/or AS9100 standards Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or Kaizen practices CAD design Altium ERP and related software tools soldering and de-soldering techniques

- Clear professional written and verbal communication; ability to document and interpret technical data
