About Northeast Iowa

Northeast Iowa is often called Iowas Bluff Country or the Little Switzerland of Iowa. The bluffs hills and valleys are full of Iowas most extensive hardwood forests native prairies wetlands cold water trout streams and spectacular views. This region boasts small family farms and more public land to explore than in any other region of Iowa. Waukon is located 20 minutes from Decorah IA and 1 hour from La Crosse WI.

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine addition must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students residents fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
