Business Development Manager (Denver HQ)
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by generating new recruiting business while also taking ownership of select existing accounts. This individual will play a key role in building relationships and deepening market penetration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue prospective clients through referrals networking social media internet research sales leads and direct outreach.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings to establish and grow relationships.
- Prepare and negotiate client agreements as well as professional services proposals.
- Partner with the recruitment team to facilitate the placement process including candidate submissions interview coordination and support through the offer stage.
- Manage and expand existing client relationships identifying opportunities to engage additional departments or service lines.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and internal processes.
- Actively participate in team meetings mentoring and ongoing training.
Required Skills & Experience
- 13 years of recruiting sales or account management experience within a staffing or professional services environment (prior sales experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with IT hiring managers and technology-related positions is a plus.
- Ability to balance account management with proactive new business development in the local market.
- Demonstrated drive and urgency in generating new business through calls meetings referrals and networking.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to document activities in a CRM/ATS.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a coachable mindset.
