Speech-Language Pathologist

As a Speech-Language Pathologist youll provide both individual and group therapy sessions helping students achieve their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals. Beyond direct therapy youll play a key role in empowering staff families and students to carry over communication strategies across every part of the day.
Your work will include:
- Evaluating and supporting communication skills: language articulation voice fluency and oral-motor development
- Designing comprehensive treatment and service plans tailored to each students needs
- Providing therapy and documenting progress through IEP/ITP goals
- Training and coaching staff in carryover strategies across school and residential settings
- Supporting families to reinforce communication growth at home
- Participating in IEP meetings treatment planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- 3 years of experience working with children in speech therapy
- A passion for helping students find their voice and confidence
