What Youll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist youll provide both individual and group therapy sessions helping students achieve their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals. Beyond direct therapy youll play a key role in empowering staff families and students to carry over communication strategies across every part of the day.
Your work will include:

Evaluating and supporting communication skills: language articulation voice fluency and oral-motor development
Designing comprehensive treatment and service plans tailored to each students needs
Providing therapy and documenting progress through IEP/ITP goals
Training and coaching staff in carryover strategies across school and residential settings
Supporting families to reinforce communication growth at home
Participating in IEP meetings treatment planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration

What Were Looking For

Masters degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
3 years of experience working with children in speech therapy
A passion for helping students find their voice and confidence
