We are a Fear Free Practice focused on small animal preventative care medicine dentistry and basic soft tissue Medical Director Dr. Carrie Muller recently launched her Message to Garcia program which provides free veterinary care to veteran support dogs and is highly engaged with the VetEvolve new graduate Support from the Start mentorship program making her an excellent mentor to new graduates. We also have a highly skilled technician team led by a lead technician with 13 years experience who excels in anesthetic techniques and monitoring. Located in Annapolis MD we are a well-established small animal general practice that takes pride in top notch care for our patients and clients. Our Technicians and Assistants at our hospital play an essential role in providing an exceptional experience for our clients and patients by being passionate and knowledgeable. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team who has strong technical skills excellent communication skills and a passion for patient and client care.
Requirements We are looking to fill a full-time position that will include some evening hours (till 6:30pm) and rotating Saturday shifts. Ideally you should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well as a team and on your own. Client communication skills are of the utmost importance as we are passionate about our pets and giving our clients the best customer service available. Salary negotiable depending on experience. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites scratches animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
