About The Role

As a Quality Manager you will ensure the highest standards of quality within the plant in Delft for the Network Components Business Unit.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System: Maintain and update the local QMS in alignment with Group and BU PQMS and verify its application.

  • Analyze data and manage Quality Continuous Improvement projects.

  • Customer Claims: Resolve internal and external customer claims.

  • SAP and NCR Tools: Manage SAP claim and NCR tools including reporting.

  • QMS Certification: Coordinate third-party QMS certification activities.

  • Customer Inspections and product FATs: Handle customer FAT inspections and audit. Manage documentation and prepare inspection and quality control plans.

  • Non-Conformities and Improvement Projects: Analyze data and manage Quality Continuous Improvement projects.

  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal process quality audits triggered by poor quality KPIs specific issues or new process validations.

  • Supplier Quality: Manage supplier quality-related activities.

  • Product Type Test Approvals: Collaborate with other functions for product type test approvals.

  • Support the 6S program taking the lead in assigned areas.

  • Collaborate with R&D manufacturing and other functions for products type approvals.

  • Support the 6S program taking the lead in assigned areas.

  • Ensure proper use of quality tools (NCR Claims Management Audit checklists etc.) and consistency of reported data and KPIs.

  • Manage resources (human & material) and ensure optimal organization including the final test laboratory.

Who are we looking for

  • 5 years of experience in Quality preferably in an industrial environment.

  • Engineering degree strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and other quality management standards.

  • Proficiency in quality tools (Pareto charts Cause and Effect diagrams 5Whys Run charts etc.) and basic knowledge of 6S and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to react flexibly to situational needs and solve problems collaboratively.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.

  • Accuracy and proactiveness.

  • Ability to manage inter-departmental and multicultural relations.
