Manager Controlling

The Team

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in EMEA plays a crucial role in driving the companys financial health and strategic decision-making. This team is responsible for budgeting forecasting and analyzing financial performance to provide insights that support business growth and efficiency. The team collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals identify trends and recommend actions to optimize resources. The FP&A team supports the organization as the leader of P&L Management across the enterprise with responsibility for Performance Management Strategic Assessment gross margin management and cost control ultimately driving growth and profitability for our business.

The Position

The Manager Controlling plays a key role in supporting financial performance management across the region leading the consolidated regional P&L from top-line to this role you will ensure accurate aligned and insightful financial performance reporting across all EMEA markets and channels. You will be a key partner to senior regional stakeholders and the primary point of contact for Corporate FP&A driving transparency accountability and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Consolidation & Performance Management: consolidate markets and channels results into a unified and accurate EMEA P&L; deliver clear end-to-end P&L insights; conduct weekly and monthly performance assessments to identify trends risks opportunities and expected landing.

  • Forecasting and Budgeting Cycles: lead the EMEA P&L roll-up for monthly forecasts re-estimates annual Budget and Long-Range Plan cycles validating assumptions and ensuring alignment across hubs and functions.

  • Lead P&L Reporting: lead monthly closing deliverables including performance packs and commentary; serve as the primary Corporate FP&A contact managing regional submissions requirements and deadlines; prepare financial and business analysis for Corporate Audit quarterly calls earnings releases and Board-level communication.

  • Enhance Reporting & Automation: develop and improve automated financial reports to enhance efficiency consistency and analytical depth; continuously refine reporting packages to highlight key developments and simplify complex financial information.

  • Develop product level reporting providing actionable insights and trend analyses to support strategic decision-making product enhancements and performance optimization.

  • Month-End Controlling & Governance: oversee month-end close activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial governance standards; identify and drive improvements in controlling processes.

  • Business Partnering: build strong trusted relationships with business stakeholders. Support decision-making by providing clear insights into financial implications.

  • Reporting Packages: streamline and enhance monthly reporting packs translating complex financial data into concise actionable insights for business reviews.

  • Financial and Scenario Modelling: perform financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions including investments gross margin impacts and commercial trade-offs.

  • Performance Culture: promote a culture of data-driven decision-making continuous learning and financial accountability. Proactively identify profitability improvement opportunities and challenge existing ways of working.

Measures of Success:

  • Delivery of timely accurate and insightful financial analysis.

  • Lead the reporting process and deliverables for Corp.

  • Development and adoption of standardized automated reporting templates.

  • Effective collaboration and alignment with stakeholders across functions and brands.

  • Positive contributions to planning cycles and ongoing process enhancements.

  • Enhance financial transparency through improved reporting packs that enable faster better decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in financial planning and analysis preferably in a global fashion or consumer goods retailer.

  • Solid understanding of full P&L logics.

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with experience using SAP and BW reporting tools.

  • Ability to work with complex data developing clear automated business reporting.

  • Structured analytical thinker with strong financial acumen.

  • Organized proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in finance business or economics preferred.
