BDC Representative
Job Description of aBDC Representative:
Were looking for a driven and personable BDC Representativeto join our Toyota dealership this role youll be the first point of contact for potential customers responsible for engaging with sales leads scheduling appointments and helping guide prospects through the initial steps of their car-buying journey. Your goal is to create a positive first impression build rapport and connect interested buyers with our sales team.
Key Responsibilities of a BDC Representative:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads via phone email text and web inquiries.
- Engage with potential customers to qualify their needs and schedule showroom or virtual appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and appointments in the CRM.
- Follow up with leads who havent yet scheduled or attended an appointment.
- Assist the sales team by ensuring they are prepared for scheduled customer visits.
- Provide basic vehicle information dealership promotions and answer common customer questions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications of a BDC Representative:
- Previous experience in customer service sales or appointment setting (automotive preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up habits.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and dealership communication platforms.
- Friendly professional demeanor and a passion for helping customers.
- Knowledge of Toyota vehicles trim levels and promotions is a plus but not required.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
