The Metrology Analyst is responsible for ensuring the reliability accuracy and compliance of laboratory and manufacturing instrumentation through timely repair support coordination of service activities and GMP documentation management. This role plays a key part in enabling the swift return of instruments to validated use contributing to continuous quality assurance within a regulated environment.
Instrument Support & Troubleshooting

Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations
Deviations (DEV)
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Assist in the generation and closure of associated records to facilitate timely instrument release and minimise downtime.
Compliance & Data Integrity
Instrument Release
Cross-functional Support
Bachelors degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
Strong understanding of metrology principles calibration and instrumentation.
Familiarity with GMP documentation practices and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills particularly in managing external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Experience with systems such as Empower (CDS) or LabWare (LIMS) preferred but not essential.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and quality.
Proactive and solution-driven approach to equipment issues and investigations.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
