Job Summary
Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Location: Brooklyn NY 11235
Schedule:40 hours/week (MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate:
Travel: $5000 $5513 weekly
Local: $4200 $4687.50 weekly
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Chief Nursing Officerfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily nursing operations and implement strategic plans to optimize patient satisfaction staff engagement quality care and financial performance.
Develop and evaluate clinical and operational performance improvement programs aligned with organizational goals.
Promote evidence-based nursing practices and foster a collaborative culture for consistent effective care delivery.
Collaborate with senior leadership and medical staff to develop policies strategies and operational standards.
Oversee nursing recruitment training credentialing professional development and retention initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and staff to ensure effective communication.
Ensure coordinated patient care and optimal resource utilization while maintaining compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
Assist in financial planning budgeting and expense control for nursing operations.
Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license.
Masters degree in Nursing Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of nursing experience including at least 6 years in nursing administration or management.
Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement and staff engagement.
Knowledge of nursing standards regulations and hospital operations.
Key Goals:
Maintain appropriate nursing staffing ratios.
Improve patient satisfaction scores (HCAPS) within three years.
Achieve Magnet designation and a Leapfrog A grade within five years.
