POSITION TITLE: Operations Supervisor 1

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Operations Manager 1
CLASSIFICATION:
This is a full-time W-2 employee position totaling 40 hours per week with hours allocated across three affiliated companies as follows:
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
With the exception of the weekly meetings most hours should not overlap those of the Operations Manager 1.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience expertise verified credentials and available company budget.

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Operations Supervisor 1 is responsible for the supervision of maintenance staff and acting as the foreman on residential construction projects. The role includes overseeing field operations ensuring timely completion of tasks maintaining high standards of safety and quality and ensuring all project activities and status updates are documented in CompanyCam. This role directly supports the Operations Manager 1 and plays a key leadership function in daily operational execution and documentation accuracy.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of maintenance technicians and field labor.
- Lead and manage on-site construction crews acting as site foreman for residential construction projects.
- Coordinate schedules monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Conduct routine inspections and implement quality control standards for all property maintenance and construction work.
- Document all work and status updates consistently in CompanyCam including uploading progress photos assigning tasks and noting issues.
- Train field staff on documentation protocols and ensure compliance with CompanyCam requirements.
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager 1 regarding project timelines resource needs and field activity updates.
- Participate in weekly check-ins and planning meetings.
Maintain inventory of tools materials and equipment used across sites.
UNSCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis.
- Cover management responsibilities during the absence of the Operations Manager or Facility Director.
- Participate in unplanned inspections compliance audits and emergency response drills.
- Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned by Operations Manager 1.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Knowledge of residential maintenance and construction practices
- Project documentation and progress tracking (CompanyCam proficiency preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret work orders plans and specifications
- Excellent organizational time-management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Conflict resolution and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency with basic mobile technology and apps used for field documentation
LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred
- 35 years of experience in maintenance or construction supervision
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with CompanyCam or willingness to learn quickly
- OSHA certification or knowledge of safety standards a plus
