H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

T. - Registered EEG Technician Upon Hire Required

1 Year EEG experience Required

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

What You Will Do

Performs EEG tests as appropriate

Knows correct recording electrode as well as their appropriate sites

Performs patient assessment to assure diagnostic testing is relevant to patient testing needs

Makes all previous applicable procedures available for interpretation

Differentiates between electrode artifact and true abnormal brain wave activity

Connects and monitors long-term EEG studies in the ICU and EMU

Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A); 36 hrs/week. Days will vary weekends will be required periodically
