As an IT Architect youll play a pivotal role in our newly formed Enterprise Information Management (EIM) organization evolving from our Master Data Governance (MDG) structure. Based in Munich youll lead architectural design proof of value and adoption of new data platforms such as Data Catalog Metadata and Data lineage solutionswhile driving harmonization governance and integration of existing data platforms such as SAP MDG across business domains.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies influence strategic programs like EWoW and Global PIM and guide the development of scalable secure and interoperable data ecosystems.

Design and implement end-to-end architectures for data-centric applications across Master Data Governance Data Catalog Data Quality Metadata Management and Data lineage solutions.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines that power data intelligence solutions ensuring reliable data flows traceability and integration across diverse sources.
Evangelize and drive adoption of modern information management platforms and capabilities at enterprise scale.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional experts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions by effectively leveraging existing and new data platforms and capabilities.
Provide expert-level support in SAP MDG supporting the configuration of data models workflow design business rules framework (BRF) and data replication techniques (e.g. SOA-based or ALE/IDoc).
Harmonize and simplify initiatives across master data domains (Customer Vendor Product Financial) promoting consistent usage of master data across enterprise systems.
Ensure compliance to data governance frameworks security policies and architectural standards.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide delivery teams and promote best practices through documentation and workshops.
Provide architectural leadership across initiatives involving data migration master data consolidation and application modernization.
Facilitate architecture review boards and support solution assurance across project lifecycles.
Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related IT field.
710 years total experience including 5 years in Data governance or Information architecture.
Expertise in SAP MDG and enterprise data platforms (cataloging quality management metadata lineage).
Experience with SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC or hybrid landscapes integrating SAP MDG with other enterprise applications is preferable.
Working knowledge of data modeling integration architecture (e.g. APIs middleware) and application development principles.
Knowledge of master data domains governance processes and data lifecycle management.
Familiarity with data quality tools metadata management and data governance frameworks.
Passionate for enabling data discovery lineage and governance through modern data intelligence practices.
A strong track record in building and optimizing data pipelines.
Strong communication stakeholder management strategic thinking and problem-solving skills tailored to cross-functional collaboration.
