Job Description

  • Fantastic full-time opportunity to join our Adelaide team and manage a diverse portfolio of key SME customers.
  • Manage portfolio of commercial broker and proprietary customers with footings up to approx. $60m
  • Provide financial advisory services fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers with Business Lending and Business Deposits.

In the role of Business Banking Manager you will join Ross Whitman and the Adelaide Metro Business Banking team thats doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day youll go above and beyond to:

  • Take charge of every step in the lending journey ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for brokers and customers with lending facilities
  • Lead the way in maintaining top-tier service standards for commercial brokers ensuring nabs service excellence shines through in every interaction with customers and brokers
  • Collaborate closely with the BDM team to inspire innovation boost performance and achieve ongoing success together
  • Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
  • Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
  • Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities
  • Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
  • Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans
  • Prepare and submit customer lending proposals

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A curiosity to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team business partners and overall value chain by modelling NABs values and behaviours
  • Experience in lending and sound ability to read and interpret all aspects of customer financials.
