Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing psychological services to students families and school staff addressing academic behavioral social and emotional concerns to support students overall well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students cognitive academic social emotional and behavioral functioning.
• Interpret assessment results and collaborate with teachers parents and other stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate interventions and support plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing issues such as anxiety depression behavioral problems and social skills deficits.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create and implement programs and interventions to promote positive behavior support social-emotional learning and mental health awareness.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) providing support and guidance to school teams.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with challenging behaviors.
• Serve as a resource to school staff providing consultation training and support on topics related to psychological assessment intervention and behavior management.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results counseling sessions progress reports and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
• Previous experience working as an LSSP in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of assessment tools psychoeducational testing and intervention strategies relevant to children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of special education laws regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students families school staff and external agencies.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).

Physical Requirements (Remote Work):

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software applications. The employee must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients. Occasionally the employee may need to stand walk reach with hands and arms and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
