Woolpit Primary Academyhave an exciting opportunity for a SEND (Special Education Needs) Coordinatorto join their team.

About the role

As SEND Coordinator you will be able to demonstrate effective ways to raise the attainment of SEND children in the school.

We would welcome applications from you if you have:

  • sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice Understanding of what makes quality first teaching and of effective intervention strategies
  • the ability to plan and evaluate interventions
  • data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform provision planning
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to build effective working relationships
  • the ability to influence and negotiate
  • good record-keeping skills.

Since September 2025 the school has a new Senior Leadership Team who are continuing to move the school forward. The person who fills the post will need to have a positive resilient attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to support our school.
