We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team based in Thornton NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in a large fully equipped workshop.

Casual Fitters Immediate Start

Workshop-based project role in Thornton
Project Work for 6 weeks
Hourly Rate: $52.71 super
Immediate start (subject to passing pre-employment medical)

Work Hours:

12 hour days
6 days a week
6 week project

Selection Criteria:

Relevant Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualifications
Minimum 2 years workshop and/or site experience
Proven ability to work independently and within a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience with light vehicles excavation equipment hydraulics and OEM gear
Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
Must be locally based in the Newcastle/Hunter Region

Mechanically minded with a can-do attitude.
Locally based.
Experience in a similar role.
Strong communication skills.
2 years workshop and or site experience.
A can-do attitude with the drive to succeed
Willing to travel for short-term projects when required
