Salary: L8 L12
Contract: Full-time Permanent
Location: Ellesmere Port

Wolverham Primary School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our dedicated leadership team. This is a key role for an outstanding individual who shares our belief that every child can succeed and that excellent leadership unlocks potential for pupils staff and the wider community.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant welcoming school that is proud to be part of a forward-thinking Trust. As Deputy Headteacher you will play a pivotal role in leading school improvement enhancing teaching and learning and securing the best possible outcomes for every child.

You will work closely with the Headteacher and the Director of Education contributing to the strategic direction of the school while having a visible and impactful role in daily school life. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to wider Trust priorities and benefit from high-quality professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on teaching learning and curriculum development across the school
  • Drive school improvement priorities ensuring the highest standards of pupil progress and attainment
  • Coach mentor and develop staff at all levels to build sustainable excellence
  • Play a key role in safeguarding behaviour and inclusion to create a positive nurturing learning environment
  • Strengthen relationships with families governors and external partners
  • Contribute to the wider work of the Trust including collaboration with other schools where appropriate
