Grade UE05: 29588 to 33951 per annum
CSG / Finance Directorate
Full-time 35 hours per week
Open-ended (permanent)
We are looking for Financial Analyst with the ability to assist in the preparation of management accounts financial forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis. They will deliver excellent financial management service to departments. Ensuring financial data is accurate up-to-date and processed according to Universitys financialpolicies and procedures.
The Opportunity:
In this role you will be supporting key areas of our business by:
- Preparing journals and managing reconciliations
- Assisting with the transition to the new People and Money finance system
- Checking and reconciling financial data to ensure it is accurate and processed according toUniversitypolicy andprocedures
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts as well as forecast and workforce modelling.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Higher SVQ3or equivalent level qualification or standard grades with previousrelevant experience discipline
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Customer-focused approach and keen to provide excellent service.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
