A Day in the Life:

The Agent Performance Analyst is responsible for cultivating and managing agent relationships administering monitoring and maintaining business quality. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of potential drivers of business quality and sound judgement to determine a course of action that supports profitable agent performance. This position is also responsible for recommending actions including termination of any producer or agency based on the overall quality of their block of business. Additional responsibilities include the analysis of production debt and repayment history production patterns and overall business quality. The Agent Performance Analyst requires strong communication with inter-departmental agent and debt management oversight teams and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with NGLs marketing partners while negotiating sensitive agreements. This position requires high-level communication technical and business analysis competencies and the ability to establish and maintain business partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:

Agent Support & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with Agents and Marketing Partners to drive quality sales and ensure long-term relationships.
  • Identify evaluate and oversee new producer onboarding procedures ensuring business quality.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to better understand agent needs to maximize retention quality of business and growth.
  • Partner with Contracting to review non-standard backgrounds for new agent appointments. Thoroughly examine reports and recommend if appointments should be approved or declined.
  • Collect track and analyze agent performance data including quality and profitability.
  • Identify trends gaps and opportunities and present to internal Sales and Marketing Partners and external Marketing Partners.
  • Recommend termination of any agent or agency based on the overall quality of their block of business and the ongoing or future risk to NGL.
  • Provide training to Operations Teams on quality of business metrics and processes.
  • Review crossover requests to provide recommendations and communicate with Marketing Partners.
  • Collaborate problem-solve and/or strategize with team members Sales and Operations on upcoming agent meetings.
  • Address agent concerns or escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all agent interactions materials and communications meet compliance requirements.
  • Represent Sales and Marketing on the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) committee and participate in recommended actions and analysis.

Debt Management

  • Lead the debt collection process and ensure Agents and Marketing Partners have timely communications per the stated process.
  • Determine the appropriate course of action for agent debt that is outside of the standard collection process. This includes negotiation of producer debt repayment agreements with NGLs Marketing Partners.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings with executive-level representatives from Accounting Sales Legal and Service Operations to present agent debt analysis.
  • Analyze debt management processes and make recommendations for improvements including oversight of the debt collection program within NGLs CRM system. Collaborate with the Salesforce team for any needed improvements.
  • Partner with the internal Commissions team to review and approve non-standard reserve withdrawals to offset debt adjust reserve percentages minimums and maximums and recommend reserve withdrawals.
  • Communicate directly with Marketing Partners and their agents on monthly updates regarding debt and business quality.
  • Ensure agents with debts are reported to Vector per their guidelines.

Schedule: This is full-time hourly position with the hours of 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. CST Monday - Friday; or as needed for department coverage and business needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze and visualize data
  • Knowledgeable of Salesforce CRM capabilities
  • Knowledge of insurance administration systems
  • Ability to travel approximately < 10%


    Education Requirements:

    • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Business Communications or related field preferred.


    Years of Experience:

    • A minimum of three years of experience in insurance sales marketing customer service or related field required.
    • A minimum of one year of experience conducting data analysis presenting insights.
