Crew Member Dock Service
Hutten & Co. Land and Shore N4K 5N5
- Located in Owen Sound enjoy living and working in Ontarios recreational hub
- $18 - $21 / hour commensurate with experience
- Temporary contract September 15th - November 15th 2025

As our new Crew Member you will be responsible for assisting the crew with quality workmanship truck and trailer cleanliness and machinery tool and small equipment care.
If you were working for us here are some of the things you would have done last week:
- Operate chainsaw winch drills and floating devices
- Read and interpret installation manuals site layout drawings and contract specifications to perform work activities
- Demonstrate shoreline stewardship with environmental best practices and technical knowledge
- Install and remove aluminum pipe floating and tower dock systems
- Install boat lifts and marine rail systems
- Perform service work as required adjusting dock heights or alignment
- Load and unload materials tools and equipment required for installations
- Transport materials with dollies floating devices and hand-lifting/carrying
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks trailers equipment jobsites and shop/yard areas
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections lubricating and cleaning
Success in this role will be about so much more than just quality dock service work completed efficiently. The Details
This is a full-time temporary seasonal job working at job sites across the Bruce Peninsula from Tobermory to Lions Head Wiarton Port Elgin Sauble Beach Georgian Bluffs Meaford and Markdale.

Qualifications
We are considering candidates from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Ideally heres what were looking for:
- Willingness to grow and learn
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Youre prepared to work in waves wind cold and deep water (dry-suits provided!)
- Youre prepared to work on difficult shoreline access steep embankments
- Comfortable with power tools and general math problems
- Valid drivers license
