Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ab-Initio Administrator to lead and support data processing and ETL activities for a utility client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ab-Initio graph development administration and team leadership with a solid background in ETL processes and Unix/Linux environments.

Required Skills (Maximum 6)

Proficient in Ab Initio Graphical Development: creating and debugging Ab Initio graphs for data processing
Strong Ab Initio Administration skills: managing access configuring EME Web Application bridge services etc.
Deep understanding of ETL processes and best practices
Ability in Data Transformation: complex transformations and cleansing
Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and Teradata

Troubleshooting & Leadership

Proven experience in team leadership and troubleshooting for issue resolution and debugging Ab Initio applications

Role Responsibilities

Mentor guide and train developers on best practices and coding standards
Foster a collaborative team culture through knowledge sharing and leading by example
Lead the design development and deployment of scalable high-performance ETL solutions using Ab Initio
Translate business and data requirements into robust Ab Initio workflows
Drive technical discussions code reviews and architecture decisions
Collaborate with other teams and Data Management to align on data strategies
Install configure upgrade and maintain Ab Initio components including GDE Co-Operating System Conduct It EME Control Center and Authorization Gateway
Perform key management with the Ab Initio keys team
Handle user access management and role configurations
