Release Engineer

We are in search of an experienced Release Engineer (Contract) who will be a member of a software delivery infrastructure team in an enterprise setting. We are adding a critical member to a small talented team handling complex deployment pipelines.

We need someone with:

CI/CD expertise must have proven experience designing and implementing scalable fault-tolerant CI/CD systems using Jenkins.
Strong ability to manage multiple Application Releases: ensure successful code delivery for applications built with Java (Spring Boot) Python across varied environments.
Efficient in coordination and execution of rollouts across cloud platforms (AWS) container systems (OpenShift) and virtual machines.
Ability to implement Container Workflows help design container-based build and deployment strategies leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
Skilled with integration tools for code and dependency scanning ensuring all releases meet internal and regulatory security standards.
Ability to administer and tune application stacks including Tomcat clusters and JVM-based services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can investigate & resolve complex issues - root cause analysis for complex pipeline or deployment failures across heterogeneous systems.
Proficient in deploying to and managing AWS services (e.g. EC2 ECS Lambda EKS)
A strategic mindset and an ability to engage in technical discussions
