Job Description
Veterans Ford Tampa is seeking a motivated and experienced Lube Technician who is eager to take the next step in their career. This is a unique opportunity to join a dealership that values growth and development with a clear path toward becoming a Ford Senior Master Technician. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets all customers in a friendly professional manner and helps identify confirm and resolve customer concerns
- Performs general maintenance on vehicles including oil changes and tire rotations
- Execute thorough and accurate inspections to advise on recommended maintenance or needed repair
- Runs tests to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
- Drives vehicles for testing purposes
- Maintains efficiency and accuracy in servicing customer and dealer-owned vehicles
- Uses power tools machine tools and common hand tools to perform various tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quick Lube service experience preferred but not required
- Must have a positive friendly attitude with a proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
- Ability to learn new technology and all repair and service procedures and specifications
- Strong knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance
- Effective analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Must exhibit personal and professional integrity
- Must have a valid drivers license
