Your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities including:Control system design analysis and integration for haptic actuators Characterize and validate haptic module and system performance Perform system modeling and simulation Prototype bring-up debug and characterization Define factory test requirements for haptic system Author engineering requirements and specifications Communicating cross-functionally and throughout management structure (written verbal and presentation) Perform failure mode analysis and problem solving International travel to support the product developmentTechnology pathfinding and IP generation
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Strong background in control engineering dynamics and signal processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team Oriented: must be able to thrive in collaborative cross-functional environments
Hands-on experience in control system design analysis implementation and validation
Track record of driving technical decisions and alignment across diverse engineering functions
Familiarity with modeling electro-mechanical system
Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and C/C
Experience with electromagnetic or piezoelectric actuators is a plus
Experience with high volume mass production is a plus
Knowledge of micro controller or embedded hardware/software is a plus
Knowledge of state-space techniques is a plus
Knowledge of nonlinear control technique is a plus
Experience with AI/ML-based control system design is a plus
M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Applied Physics or equivalent with a specialization in control engineering
