Your Day-to-Day
- Responsible for building high performant models reports and dashboards in the BI Platform Cognos Analytics within ING Group Services
- Understand business requirements to make sure that the reports and dashboards are fulfilling the stakeholders needs
- Using Agile SCRUM principles to deliver maintain and extend the data analytics & reporting platform
- Proactive in formulating and managing processes and standards as we are working in a global context for a global BI Platform
- Proactive in identifying potential risks and issues which will cause deviations from global standards and impact the performance of the reports
What you bring to the team
- 5 Years of experience as (Cognos)BI Developer building data models reports and dashboards
- Experience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)
- Very good SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle databases is a must
- Good background knowledge of modelling and ETL Tooling so that you can understand the whole context
- Experience with report automated testing would be considered a plus
- Ability to gather and translate requirements
- Experience in banking sector would be a plus
- DWH experience would be considered a plus
- Experience with pair programming
- Passionate about data insights
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
