Role Overview

TECS is seeking a Data Engineer / Power BI Specialist to help design and implement the companys digital transformation. This role centers on data modeling reporting automation and building meaningful insights from business and engineering systems. Youll work cross-functionally to create a data ecosystem that fuels smarter decision-making while maintaining minimal IT infrastructure to support your data projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards models and reports that visualize key metrics for operational and business performance.
Integrate clean and structure data from various systems (ERP CRM Microsoft 365 and service tools) for reporting and analytics.
Build and automate data pipelines using Power Query Power Automate or Python scripting.
Collaborate with internal teams to define KPIs and deliver self-service analytics solutions.
Support data connections between Power BI and Odoo ERP or other databases.
Maintain basic IT capabilities (e.g. device configurations cloud access and network coordination) when needed.
Partner with external IT providers for system-level maintenance focusing internally on analytics and automation.
Promote innovation by exploring new data engineering tools and Azure services for future scalability.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Data Engineering Computer Science or related field.
25 years of experience in a data engineering BI or IT systems role with analytical focus.
Strong skills in Power BI (data modeling DAX RLS and publishing).
Experience integrating data from ERP or CRM systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or Python.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
Understanding of databases data pipelines and data visualization principles.
Fluent English communication skills; other European languages are a plus.
Analytical thinker with a proactive attitude and a passion for data-driven improvement.
