Job Title - Manager – Legal

Work Location – Plant ( Varanasi )

Department - Legal

Co – Ordinating - with Ho Legal And Plant Level Managers

Reporting to - Plant Manager

FSSAI experience is mandatory .

Should be well versed with Food related Acts & Law.

Experience -10 yrs exp

Job Purpose

Entire Responsibility Related Towards Plant Related Legal Matters Including Compliance And Handling All

Litigations Related To A Specific Geography

Roles & Responsibilities :

Ensuring compliance and guidance in the matters like Prevention of food Adulteration Act 1954 Standard weights & measures Act and Food Safety and Standards Act 2006
Handling all kinds of litigation for and against company including at various High Courts District Courts Tribunals and Various Courts Of Law.
Handling all Trade Mark related issues Infringement and matters under appropriate legal legislations & compliances.
Drafting and vetting of agreements Notices Reply to notice issued by statutory authorities
Maintaining Co-ordination Head Office regarding monitoring of legal cases and streamlining procedures for frequent flow of updated legal information to the HO
Liasioning with Advocates/Counsels engaged in lower courts and High Courts for filing and defending civil as well as criminal cases.
Liasioning with various departments i.e. P.F.A Weight & Measurement M.C.D Police Sale Tax E.S.I & P.F P.F.A Dept. Drug License Dept (D.H.S) for various licensing and other matters
Representing the matters before various statutory authorities Judicial and Quasi judicial bodies different courts forums and commissions.
Plant compliance management and preparing and submitting monthly compliance reports to the HO
Knowledge of Factory FSSAI PCB & other applicable laws of factory

Required

Knowledge in Depth - Liasoning with government authorities Litigations
Qualification - Graduate LLB or LLM & any other additional professional qualifications are desired
Target / Industry Company - FMCG Consumer Goods
Work Experience - Minimum 7 to 10 years
